Berserk Season 1 Episode 9 Reaction! Watching Berserk Episode 9 “Assassination” for the first time - and Griffith’s rise to power just took a seriously dark turn. In Berserk 1997 Episode 9, Griffith continues getting closer to Princess Charlotte during the royal hunt, but everything suddenly changes when an assassin shoots Griffith directly in the chest with a poisoned arrow. Somehow, Griffith survives when the arrow strikes his mysterious Behelit, protecting him from what should have been a fatal attack. But Griffith quickly realizes this was no accident and begins investigating who was responsible for trying to kill him. After discovering that General Julius was behind the assassination attempt, Griffith turns to the one person he trusts to handle the situation - Guts. But instead of sending him into another battle, Griffith gives Guts a much darker mission. This is my first time watching Berserk, so this is a completely blind reaction to Berserk 1997 Episode 9 “Assassination.” Griffith getting shot, the Behelit saving his life, Princess Charlotte, Julius’ conspiracy, Guts receiving the assassination order and the growing darkness surrounding Griffith’s ambition gave me A LOT to talk about.
