Planting a Test Plot + Fetching Cows for the Robot | Cow Palace E83

What a great feeling to be this close to finishing up spring planting! The jobs today: Finish planting the hay crop that's overseeded with sorghum-sudan. Then finish corn planting with a corn silage test plot. And the sprayer arrives to burnout the triticale crop so we can plant soybeans. Of course we still have a dairy farm to worry about, so we'd better drop into the barn and fetch a fresh heifer who calved a few days ago. This way she'll learn how to use the robot on her own.
