The 2026 Genesis G90 Prestige Black is a welcome addition to a sparse full size luxury sedan market in the USA. We were impressed with Genesis’s commitment to the Black theme as every single piece of trim, housing, button, dial, or badge is all uniquely dark. The G90 retains a classy and bold design, the power closing doors are sweet, and the interior is next level for the price with proper 1st class rear seats, pleasant smelling cabin fragrances, massage… it has it all. The ride is also generally great, though some lower frequency bumper could still be rounded out more. It’s also 90% as quiet as a German rival, though could be even quieter. The V6 powertrain is quick, though not a performer, particularly in the gearbox. We love the rear steering in tight spaces, though the G90’s is overly responsive we found. These are all small nitpicks for an otherwise underrated full size luxury sedan that means serious business.
