Göbeklitepe and Şanliurfa @ErnestTufft

Göbeklitepe is oldest known temple in the world, twice as old as Stonehenge, and older than Egyptian pyramids or any ruins in Sumeria. Şanliurfa is city nearby that features the Pool of Abraham and claims to be birthplace of Abraham, or at least a stopover on his way to Canaan. These are both located in upper Mesopotamia in southeast of Turkey today.
