Nine years ago, nearly 750,000 Rohingya were forced to flee Myanmar to neighbouring Bangladesh to escape violent military crackdown. The plight of the ethnic minority eventually reached the International Court of Justice, where Myanmar’s government stands accused of genocide, though a verdict is still pending. Today, over 1.2 million Rohingya refugees remain in Bangladeshi camps. With Myanmar entrenched in civil war, will the ethnic minority see justice and safely return home?
