S650 Mustang EcoBoost Autocross – SCCA Solo IAR Round 10 (2026)

SCCA Solo (10/18/26) at Hawkeye Transportation in Waterloo, IA in my S650 Mustang EcoBoost, DS class The morning began cold (around 40°F), but thankfully, I ran in heats two and four, and the day warmed up. I really enjoyed this course layout, and it seemed pretty balanced as far as what cars would benefit most from it. Some interesting corners, plenty of speed, and an annoying cone to avoid made it a fun course to find the best line and refine it. Unfortunately, I came in a bit too hot on one corner on my best run, so there was more time to find. On the run before my best clean run, I tapped a cone but came in four tenths quicker (if we ignore the cone), so the time was definitely there.
