The Book of Enoch Says That Your Soul Existed Before You Were Born

Where was your soul before you were born? The Book of Enoch describes heavenly books containing lives that have not yet begun—and places prepared before the earth itself. An angel hands Enoch a pen. What he is asked to record turns an ordinary act of writing into a mystery about the beginning of human life. As the journey moves through heavenly chambers, sealed records and the realm called Guf, one question keeps returning: does being known before birth mean you already existed? Explore what 1 Enoch, 2 Enoch and 3 Enoch actually say about souls, creation and life before the womb. Each vision brings us closer to the question—and complicates the answer. The journey ends with a name spoken before the stars, and a final turn that changes how we read everything that came before. Which idea stays with you: a soul that existed before birth, or a life known before it began? Tell us what you think in the comments.
