Transcript of Video: There are two main types of gaseous extinguishing systems Clean agents; such as the halo carbon group and the inert gas group Carbon Dioxide (CO2) isn't classed as a clean agent by relevant standards Total flooding is the only approved application method for a clean agent system! Carbon dioxide can be used where there are multiple leakage sites within an enclosure or on a local level. It's widely accepted there are 3 classes of fire Class A fires refer to solid materials Class B fires relate to flammable liquids In Europe Class C fires relate to flammable gases In America Class C fires relate to electrical fires Typical standards for gaseous systems are EN15004 / BS EN15004 ISO 14520 NFPA 2001 CEA 4008/4045 BS 5306 Part 4 ISO 6183 NFPA 12 CEA 4007 Learn more about designing Gaseous Extinguishing Systems with Tyco Visit us now www.tfppemea.com
