Hi everyone, I am thrilled to introduce ‘Rong Dao Hey Rongila’, an original music video that embodies the spirit of Holi, the timeless devotion of Radha-Krishna, and the beauty of classical Indian music and dance. This project is a fusion of soul-stirring melody, evocative storytelling, and mesmerizing visuals—a rare artistic experience that transcends time. This song holds a special place in my heart, as it was born from my mother’s beautiful verses. The moment I heard the lyrics, I was captivated by their profound expression and knew I had to compose it instantly. Raag Bahar, known for capturing the essence of romance and beauty, became the perfect melodic backdrop for this piece. The song took shape in less than an hour—but bringing it to its fullest form was a journey of dedication and collaboration with some of the finest artists of our time. Music Arrangement & Production – Sourav Babai Chakraborty, a visionary in contemporary classical music, crafted the arrangement with intricate sargam compositions, enriching it further with an extraordinary ensemble of musicians: Joydeb Nandi (Percussion), Soumyajyoti Ghosh (Flute) and Subhas Bose (Sitar) Choreography & Direction – The incomparable Vidushi Smt. Anurekha Ghosh Ji brought this vision to life with her brilliant storytelling through Kathak. She conceptualized the seamless portrayal of Radha and Krishna’s divine interaction, guiding me as both the singer and Radha, creating a poignant, visually stunning narrative. Dance & Performance – With Anurekha Ji’s exceptional choreography, senior Kathak dancers Ankita, Devleena, Purva, and Aditri, along with Sayak as Krishna, infused the performance with grace, vibrancy, and expressive storytelling, turning the music video into a kaleidoscope of emotions, movement, and colors. The video has been shot in the beautiful courtyard of Dankuni Rajbari and by the very talented, up-and-coming cinematographers Rittik Chakraborty, Uma Shankar and Bijon Barik.
