DASH CAM FOOTAGE: Private plan makes emergency crash landing on I-80

Nevada State Police shared this video of a dashcam capturing the moment a private plane made an emergency landing. (Video belongs to Nevada State Police) Storey County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to I-80 westbound at mile marker 28 near Patrick where an airplane landed on the freeway. All westbound lanes were closed and reopened around 11:20 a.m. Authorities say no injuries have been reported. The Reno-Tahoe International Airport provided this statement: "A non-commercial general aviation aircraft departed the Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO) Thursday, Oct. 22, landing off airport property shortly before 8 a.m. No fatalities were reported. The pilot was the only person on board the aircraft."The Reno-Tahoe International Airport provided this statement: Authorities say the plane is a fixed wing Seawind 3000.
