Turning a Tapered Bearing into Two Amazing Straight Razors. In this project a skilled blacksmith made two straight razors from a tapered bearing. The bearing was broken with a hammer and its inner ring was heated in the forge and straightened. The ring was then cut into two pieces and both pieces were shaped into straight razor blades. After the grinding and hardening process the blacksmith crafted handles from aluminum scrap and completed the project.
