The speakerbox is mounted directly to the back cover, so the repair requires removing the back cover, transferring the LED light and ambient light sensor flex cables from the old speakerbox to the new one, and carefully installing the replacement module. Before fully securing the back cover, I perform a preventive sound test to make sure the new speaker is working correctly. After that, everything is reassembled and the device goes through a final test.
