With General Lykke's death, the Macedonian Uprising came to an end, yet Princess Minerva and Maria's whereabouts are unknown. After angering General Lang and refusing his orders, Marth led the 7th Platoon to Holm Coast to search for Ogma and the Grustian children. Gail of the Macedonian Vikings had found them first. Ogma is back and better than before. With higher stats from being a veteran, he can reliably double nearly every enemy with his 14 SPD. His 14 SKL will also allow him to land more critical hits especially when paired with a Killing Edge. His growths rates are slightly below average being around 30-40% so his other stats may take a little bit to grow. However, with Astral Shards and promotion, these can be remedied pretty easily. I'd always recommend Ogma since he's just a great unit overall. Yuliya is your second Cleric. She gains access to the unique Rescue staff. Although it's good, you have to use it sparingly since you have only 5 uses. Plus there's certain chapters in which it is highly recommended to use it. Otherwise, Marisha is only slightly better stat wise than Yuliya. She does have 2 STR which means she heals one extra HP but hey, that's still one more. I always love having two Clerics for emergencies but a lot of people like one. It really comes down to personal preference. Jubelo can be a good Mage but is overshadowed. His stats are very, very low where he will only be able to deal chip damage for a long time. His 50% STR growth will make his spells more damaging but that'll take awhile to patch up his 1 STR. His 60% weapon level will let him use more tomes, but it'll be hard to get him levels when he deals so little damage. Linde far surpasses him just because of her high SPD. It also helps that she gets unique tomes like Aura and Nosferatu whereas Jubelo doesn't. I typically like using Princes and Princesses if I can help it, but he requires more than he's worth. Sirius is an amazing unit that is only held back by the maps. His stats are amazing where his 13 SPD is nearly on Ogma's level and his 11 DEF puts him on Draug's level. Not only can he tank several rounds of combat, he can dish out huge amounts of damage. His growths are between 30-50% so some will grow slightly slower but they can be easily patched with Astral Shards. His only real drawback is his 1 LCK and 30% growth, but even then, he takes so little damage he could easily brush it off. Though I highly recommend you patch that up first as he is required for the perfect and secret endings. Glad to see you back from Valentia. Castor is back and just as strong. His 10 STR and 60% growth will have him shredding through enemies. Unfortunately, the rest of his stats and growths are pretty poor. He has a 40% SPD and SKL growth which will help, but his other growths are 20%. Horsemen are also not great promotions either as they are either restricted by terrain or have to lose their stats when they dismount. Although Castor can still pack a punch, he won't necessarily be as good as a Sniper. A Sniper has far better terrain data as well as more balanced stats. He is 100% useable though especially with Astral Shards, but you will need patch up his DEF and SPD so he's not quite as fleshy.
