Join me in Santiago, Chile walking through Parque Bustamante from Café Literario to Avenida Irarrázaval The route runs 1.6 km (1.0 miles) from Café Literario through Parque Bustamante in Providencia, then carries on along the green median of Avenida General Bustamante and crosses into Ñuñoa before it ends at Avenida Irarrázaval. It's filmed in 4K at walking pace and runs about 25 minutes. There's no commentary over it and no music, so what you hear is the street the way it actually sounded. It was a sunny spring afternoon with a few clouds, around 18°C (65°F). My last walk along Avenida General Bustamante ended near this park, and I'd wanted to walk through it ever since, so I figured today was as good a day as any. It's a really nice, well laid out park with lots of trees, and some of them were already blossoming. Once I got through it I kept going along the green strip down the middle of the road. It has benches, some outdoor gym equipment and an interesting monument, so it still felt like the park even though I was walking in the middle of the street. What I've come to like most about the neighborhoods I've been to in Santiago is how walkable they are and how much green space there is everywhere. I'd imagine if you live here and don't feel like being inside, you can just go downstairs, sit on a bench under the trees and watch the dogs play, or get a workout in on the equipment. Plenty of people were out doing exactly that, just walking or sitting and relaxing. A 360 camera films in every direction at once, so there's nowhere out of frame for me to stand. I keep out of the way where I can, but every now and then you'll catch the back of my head, a bit of hair, or the edge of my glasses in a corner. Same goes for the occasional sound, so if I trip over something or spot something worth a reaction, you'll hear that too, which is about as much talking as these videos get. Faces and license plates are blurred as best as possible. Route map (c) OpenStreetMap contributors. There's more of Providencia and the rest of Santiago coming, so come along if you like this sort of thing. #Providencia #Santiago #Chile #walkingtour #4k #pov
