Camping Above 1,000m in Japan! ⛰️ | Maiko Kogen Niigata Vlog 🇯🇵

We went camping on top of a mountain in Niigata Prefecture during the summer! 🇯🇵⛺ This location is Maiko Kogen (舞子高原) in Minamiuonuma, Niigata. Famous as a popular ski and snow resort in the winter, during the warm summer months, the slopes transform into a stunning green grassy campsite set nearly 1,000 meters high on the peak!  The main highlight of this campsite is the breathtaking panorama. From high up on the mountain, you get an incredible view of the entire city and the famous rice fields of Minamiuonuma below.
