I also trust that many of you will manage to get out soon and wet a line wether that be Stillwater, River or Loch. Using barbless hooks for 99% of my fishing very occasionally whilst fishing NZ Style the tippet attaching the nymph to the bend in the hook can come away. There are a couple of fixes for this simply tie the dry to a dropper on your leader or you can add an attachment point on the fly. In this video I show you how to do the latter, you can use a micro ring which I have done in the past. They are expensive though and this is a much cheaper option especially when you loose as many flies as me!
