LPG New Rule From October 1: Aadhaar Biometric Authentication Mandatory for Subsidised Gas |

LPG consumers के लिए 1 October 2026 से बड़ा बदलाव होने जा रहा है। Domestic LPG refill पर applicable subsidy के साथ regulated price पर cylinder book करने के लिए Biometric Aadhaar Authentication (BAA) जरूरी होगा। सरकारी जानकारी के मुताबिक, 19 September 2026 तक 27.43 करोड़ यानी 89.9% active domestic LPG consumers अपना biometric authentication पूरा कर चुके हैं। जिन consumers का authentication अभी बाकी है, उन्हें subsidy वाले regulated price पर refill booking के लिए BAA पूरा करना होगा। � Press Information Bureau Authentication LPG delivery के समय, distributor showroom पर या संबंधित OMC mobile apps—IndianOil ONE, HelloBPCL और HP PAY—के जरिए किया जा सकता है। सरकार के अनुसार, जो लोग BAA नहीं कर पाते या नहीं करना चाहते, उन्हें LPG उपलब्ध रहेगा, लेकिन applicable market price पर बिना subsidy के। � Press Information Bureau इस वीडियो में जानिए 1 October से LPG के नए rules क्या हैं, Aadhaar authentication क्यों जरूरी किया गया है और consumers को क्या करना चाहिए। Source: Press Information Bureau (PIB), Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas — 19 September 2026.
