Pt. Arun Kashalkar: Raag Nat Bhairav

Pt. Arun Kashalkar was the featured artiste in the first of this new series archiving the art of eminent classical musicians. The second piece of his recital began with a traditional bada khayal in Vilambit Ek Taal: "Bhor Bhayee Aalee Sagari Rain Jagee". He followed this with his own chhota khayal composition, set to Dhrut Aadachautaal: "Gharwa Aayo Sughar Balma". He was accompanied by Praveen Karkare on tabla and Anant Joshi on harmonium. Tanpura and vocal support were provided by his senior disciples Vishal Moghe, Mukul Kulkarni and Mandaar Valuskar.
