Skyline Football 2018 Week 1 - vs Kentwood

Season opener! Skyline hosts Kentwood and it's a battle! Spartan D keeps the Conks O in check in the 1st half including two picks in the red zone. Skyline goes into halftime up 14-0 after a Green to Johnson TD pass, and then Green to Lanier two-point conversion. Kentwood comes out grinding on the ground in the 2nd half and pulls even 14-14 by the 4th quarter, but the Spartans turn on the O deep in the game, including a huge 50 yard Brendan Bice catch and run. Bice caps the drive off for the 21-14 lead. Skyline's defense shuts down Kentwood in the final minutes and the Spartans get win #1 in the 2018 opener.
