The Sixth Flame – Act I – 01. Before the Flame (Official Audio)

"Before the Flame" is the opening track of Act I, the first chapter of The Sixth Flame. An original symphonic power metal saga told through music. ────────────────────── FROM THE BOOK OF THE FIRST FLAME "The oldest chronicles speak of a time when the Primordial Flame remained whole, and the balance of the world had not yet been broken." ────────────────────── CHAPTER PRELUDE The world has lived with the Fragmentation for longer than anyone can remember. Kingdoms have risen and fallen, the old stories have become legends, and few still believe the Primordial Flame was ever real. Far from one another, five travelers continue their own journeys. Each follows a different path, driven by reasons known only to themselves. None of them has ever met. None of them knows that the choices they are about to make will lead them toward the same road. Their story begins here. ──────────────────────── LYRICS Before the Flame before the Name before the echo of an ancient song Five separate paths from distant lands were lost with nowhere to belong One walks through dust and mountains with weathered hands and memories worn keeping silent fragments of the world stones he never learned to leave behind Another moves where the forest falls silent following trails no one has crossed living in shadows, between two worlds searching in the wind for her own place One who heals the wounds of others carries yesterday's sorrows in her hands prays in silence for the names of the fallen while her light refuses to let them fade One seeks forgotten truths whispering names no one recalls searching for the Primal Flame though that truth may break him And one who left the Order behind without forsaking what he believed keeps an oath older than fire waiting in silence for what is to come Before the Flame before the dawn before the oath and the truth Five paths cross the night unaware of what would come Before the Flame unaware They were Flame before they were fire Five paths one promise they could not yet grasp When the world remembers its name when the stone begins to sing when a Flame awakens in the shadows five souls will learn to burn Before the Flame before the dawn before the oath and the truth Five paths cross the night unaware of what would come Before the Flame unaware They were Flame before they were fire Five paths one promise they could not yet grasp Before the Flame already bound before they could understand Five paths one destiny they could not yet grasp Before the Flame something waited hidden in shadows, still asleep Five paths one promise they could not yet grasp ────────────────────── The Sixth Flame is an original fantasy concept album that tells a single continuous story across multiple acts and chapters.
