Worship the compassionate Lord Ramachandra, who removes the intense fear of worldly existence. He has newly opened lotus-like eyes, a lotus face, and lotus-like hands and feet. कंदर्प अगणित अमित छवि, नवनील नीरद सुंदरं। पट पीत मानहु तड़ित रुचि शुचि नौमि जनक सुतावरं॥ • I bow to the spouse of Janaka’s daughter (Sita), whose beauty excels that of countless Cupids, whose divine form resembles a fresh blue rain-cloud, and whose yellow garments shine like lightning. भजु दीनबंधु दिनेश दानव-दैत्यवंश-निकंदनं। रघुनंद आनंदकंद कोसलचंद दशरथ-नंदनं॥ • Worship the friend of the poor, the sun of the Raghu dynasty, the destroyer of demons, the source of joy, and the beloved son of Dasharatha. सिर मुकुट कुंडल तिलक चारु उदार अंग विभूषणं। आजानुभुज शर-चाप-धर, संग्राम-जित-खरदूषणं॥ • Adorned with a beautiful crown, earrings, and a mark on his forehead, holding a bow and arrow in his long arms, he conquered Khara and Dushana in battle. इति वदति तुलसीदास शंकर-शेष-मुनि-मन-रंजनं। मम हृदय कंज निवास कुरु, कामादि खल-दल-गंजनं॥ • Thus says Tulsidas: O charmer of the minds of Lord Shiva, Sheshnag, and sages, reside forever in the lotus of my heart and dispel all evil desires.
