Kayak transducer mounts can be expensive and sometimes require you to drill into your kayak. With this simple $5 DIY version you don't have to drill into your kayak, or compromise on the fit. Watch how I make and install a swing arm transducer mount for my Garmin GT56 transducer on my Old Town Sportsman PDL 106 kayak. I also show how to manage the wires at the end of the video, so they don't get in your way when out on the water.
Inspired by the YakAttack transducer mount, this DIY solution offers unlimited flexibility for those on a budget. Honestly, I wanted to buy the YakAttack version but didn’t want to spend $100 for their battery box and transducer arm…that’s just too much for plastic in my opinion.
Thanks for watching, like & subscribe if my video was helpful at all.
