Where do I begin? This project has sat in the back of my mind since its conception in 2022, and it's surreal to see the polished product ready for all to listen! Never did I imagine that my initial idea of creating a mod to add combat layers to Danny's original tracks would evolve into a fully-fledged spiritual successor to the soundtrack! It wasn't easy at first. I knew I was getting myself into something that would face a lot of scrutiny because I was claiming to expand the sacred soundtrack that is Danny B's "Wrath of the Lamb." It did indeed, but the community has grown fond of it since then, and since it gave me the motivation to continue the soundtrack's development of what would be 4 years of composition on entirely original tracks in the style of Danny B! I know the wait was unbearable, but I needed to make sure that these tracks were the best they could be in both the community's eyes and my own. By releasing the soundtrack on streaming together rather than installments, I revisited prior tracks to give them a fresh coat of paint that would be on par with the 33 new tracks I composed for Repentance. Now that it's complete, I can finally put this project to rest and move on to more exciting endeavors. It's been a long journey, and I'm proud of what I've composed, entirely human-made no less!
