Steam at Spencer - Jeddo Coal Co. #85

For the month of July, steam locomotion returned to the North Carolina Transportation Museum as Jeddo Coal Co. 0-4-0T #85 was put to work pulling trainloads of passengers around the former Southern Railway shops. Owned and operated by the Gramling Family, #85 (lovingly nicknamed "Mack") is one of three engines that are trucked to various tourist railroads and museums looking for a "bite-sized" steam operation. In this video, you'll see #85 handling the trains around the museum, including a great runby up a small hill near the entrance and parking lot!
