Thunderbeam/RSH-10 (w/ Very Fast Rotating Reflector) Monthly Test, Alert & Attack - Spartanburg, SC

Alert Signal: 0.00 Attack Signal: 4:56 I do not make any money from my videos I post on my YouTube channel. Video taken on October 4, 2014. "This siren reflector (disc) is not set to do that, the planetary gearbox that spins the reflector (disc) has ran low on oil and the gears in it are starting to mess up." I got very surprised when I saw the reflector (disc) spinning very fast. I was told this siren has been doing that for years. I'm unsure if I will try to report the problem to the county Emergency Management. This siren is a 3 phase model (RSH-10A). Sorry about the wind gusts and other noises heard in this video. It was very windy. I even moved the camera to do a different spot but it was still windy and then this siren starts to activate. I did have the scanner with me but I had it set to the wrong frequency. I set it to the right one during this siren sounds. I did not expect to hear another activation tone from the scanner when this siren is going to sound attack signal (I thought usually one activation tone will activate all sirens in the county to sound alert signal and then attack signal). This siren will sound alert signal or attack signal for tornado warnings, other emergencies. This siren is located in Spartanburg County, South Carolina at New Prospect Fire and Rescue Department Station 1 off of 9 near Foster road. ***EDIT 1/24/16***: The problem still has not been fixed.
