A Day at Hobbiton & Hamilton Gardens

Come along with us for another day exploring New Zealand’s North Island! We started the day at the famous Hobbiton Movie Set, where we got to walk through the real filming location. From the Hobbit holes and rolling green hills to the Green Dragon Inn, the whole place felt like stepping straight into Middle-earth. After Hobbiton, we continued to Hamilton Gardens – one of the most unique gardens we’ve visited in New Zealand. Instead of being one traditional botanical garden, it is made up of completely different themed spaces inspired by gardens from around the world and different periods of history.
