Yesterday, I announced that I had taken legal action against VeryDarkMan and the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) at the Federal High Court in Gombe over the financial accountability of the Martins Vincent Otse Initiative (MVOI).
For months, I have been asking for proper financial disclosures, including audited financial statements. These are public donations, and the public deserves to know how the money is being managed.
Let me ask five simple questions:
1. How many schools has MVOI built or renovated?
2. How many boreholes have been completed?
3. How many employees are being paid with NGO funds?
4. How much interest has been earned on the reported ₦100 million Treasury Bills investment?
5. Where is the detailed financial breakdown of the donations received and money spent?
I don't need insults or emotional explanations. I need figures backed by documents.
This is the same VDM who has publicly demanded accountability from Jenny's Glow, Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin, Nedu Wazobia, Blessing CEO and several others.
So when VDM demands accountability, it's activism, but when someone asks him to account for public donations, it's hatred? How does that make sense?
I also have serious questions about some of his past investigations, including the Mohbad case, the Okoye brothers' dispute and several other high-profile cases. There is a lot I intend to examine with evidence.
For now, my focus remains on MVOI.
Accountability cannot be something you demand from others but reject when the questions come to your own doorstep.
If you have factual answers to any of my five questions, please share them in the comments. I genuinely want to see the figures and supporting documents.
Share this video. Public accountability should never depend on who we like or dislike.
