To Meet Jesus: The Deadly Gospel of Paul Mackenzie | Inside Kenya's Shakahola Cult Massacre

How did a former taxi driver turn a religious message into one of the deadliest doomsday cult tragedies in modern history? In this chilling true-crime documentary, we go deep inside Kenya's Shakahola Forest to uncover the horrific truth behind Paul Nthenge Mackenzie and the Good News International Church. For years, Mackenzie brainwashed his followers into believing that education was forbidden, modern medicine was evil, and that the only way to "meet Jesus" before the apocalypse was through total starvation. Tragically, the regime enforced a strict "hierarchy of death," forcing innocent children to starve first. Those who tried to escape or resist were met with violence by cult guards inside the forest. Following the gruesome discovery of over 400 bodies hidden in shallow mass graves in Kilifi County, this documentary covers the entire timeline—from the shocking rescue missions to the historic Mombasa High Court ruling where Paul Mackenzie and 28 co-defendants were found guilty of 191 counts of murder. 🔔 Subscribe to sheban Yusuf for more investigative crime documentaries, cult deep dives, and breaking true-crime stories. 👍 If you found this investigative documentary informative, please like, comment your thoughts below, and share. 0:00 - Introduction: The Shakahola Nightmare 2:15 - Who is Paul Nthenge Mackenzie? 5:40 - Inside the Good News International Church 9:15 - The "Deadly Gospel" & Brainwashing Tactics 14:30 - The Horrors of Shakahola Forest Revealed 20:10 - The Rescue Operations & Mass Graves 25:45 - The Historic Trial: Facing 191 Counts of Murder 31:10 - Court Verdict, Judgment, and Aftermath #MackenzieVerdict #ShakaholaTrial #JusticeForShakahola #PaulMackenzieGuilty #TrueCrime #truecrimedocumentary #CultDocumentary #DoomsdayCult #GoodNewsInternational #TrueCrimeKenya #InvestigativeJournalism #KenyaNews #KilifiCounty
