I walked around Tengachaya Station in Nishinari-ku, Osaka City (Kishinosato 1-chome, Osaka Prefecture).
This is the terminal station of the Osaka Metro Sakaisuji Line, also served by Nankai Electric Railway.
The station area is lined with shopping streets, commercial facilities, and apartment buildings, forming a comfortable neighborhood that serves as a home base for daily life—a typical “station you come home to” seen in many large metropolitan suburbs.
It’s been a year since my last visit, but that previous video hasn’t been released yet. I’ll upload it once it’s edited (Shorts version).
Average daily passengers (FY2024):
・Nankai Electric Railway – 74,857 people/day (boarding + alighting)
・Osaka Metro – 38,031 people/day (boarding only)
As of September 1, 2025:
・Population of Osaka City: 2,815,302
・Population of Nishinari Ward: 106,090
・Population of Osaka Prefecture: 8,776,230
