EXTENSIVE REPAIR & UPGRADES on MV CONESTE | ARCTIC CONTAINER LINE at BLRT REPAIR YARDS TALLINN

BLRT Repair Yards Tallinn has completed an extensive repair and upgrade programme on the container vessel CONESTE of Arctic Container Line. A key part of the project was the propulsion package. New fuel-optimised propeller blades and the Dynamic Drive system, both from Berg Propulsion, were introduced with the target of reducing bunker consumption and associated CO₂ emissions by around 20% The repair and upgrade scope also covered: • CPP overhaul • Propeller shaft and stern tube sealing works • Underwater equipment inspection and servicing • Hull preparation and coating • Cargo hold steel renewal • Propulsion control system upgrade • Main-engine CBV installation and integration With technical management by Myklebusthaug Management AS, the project brought together the crew, our yard teams across multiple technical disciplines and specialist partners. MV CONESTE has completed her yard period and is now preparing for the next assignment with Arctic Container Line, technically upgraded, more efficient and proudly carrying the polar bear on her side!
