Too far of a stretch for someone my size | First time playing Silent Hill 3, part 11

Today is all about the excitement and adventure of the Brookhaven Hospital keypad puzzle, because we can't progress until we solve that first. I chose to have puzzles that were the hard level, so I expected that some of the metaphors in the clues might be a bit of a stretch, but I discovered that the answers can only be found if you're willing to stretch the metaphors until they warp and twist, and you make a wild leap of logic as to what the modifier is that will reduce the number of digits you "decode" to four. I had to face down my own inadequacies and taste the bitterness of needing hints. ANYway, once the keypad is dealt with, we're able to unlock the rest of the hospital and make the "sad" discovery that we're never going to meet Stanley. But we do get to follow the path that will lead to Leonard, thanks to a confusing phone call with the man himself. It is a long path, and one with no way back, it seems. We make it to...somewhere? It's dark and the walls are squirming. That's not a sentence I thought I'd ever write. Thanks, Silent Hill franchise!
