7 a.m. deep dub house live jam from the loft [mpc & syntakt]

recorded at 7 a.m. in the loft: an 18 min deep dub house live jam, dawless, built around the mpc live. four original beats, one continuous set. woke up, sat on the couch and played until the sun fully rose. inspired by the deep, dubby sound of ron trent and fred p. heavy dub treatment with reverbs, delays and live pitch shifts on the drums and chords, layered with lots of atmospheric pads. hypnotic and immersive, good for slow mornings and deep focus. best with headphones. ⧉ workflow ▢ akai mpc live ▢ elektron syntakt ▢ live dubbing, pitch shifts ▢ 124-127 bpm ▢ 18 min live jam [ beats ] 00:00 inane 04:18 blue lake 09:21 somnium 13:10 flora 17:35 outro ⧉ network_node ■ ig:   / michelemanzo_   ■ fb:   / michelemanzomusic   ⧉ index #dubhouse #dawless #mpclive #deephouse #livejam #michelemanzo
