In this interactive music activity, students will first read and clap a rhythm, then watch that same rhythm transform into a melody. Each example uses a fun Fall phrase to help students connect the words to the rhythm. Once the rhythm becomes a melody, students can sing the Fall words shown on screen, sing the melody using “La,” or play the melody on a pitched instrument. This activity helps young musicians connect two important building blocks of music: Rhythm and Melody. 👏 Clap the rhythm 🎵 Watch the same rhythm become a melody 🎤 Sing the Fall words shown on screen or sing using “La” 🎹 Or play the melody Music note: All rhythm and melody examples in this video are presented in 4/4 time and the key of C. Time and key signatures have been omitted from the on-screen notation to keep the examples clear and easy to read for young learners. Perfect for elementary music classrooms, music centers, homeschool music, rhythm practice, melody practice, sight-reading practice, and fall music lessons. 🍂 For more music activities and resources, visit gbmusic.tv Green Beans Music Music Made Simple for Kids FOLLOW GREEN BEANS MUSIC SUBSCRIBE:    / @greenbeansmusic   FACEBOOK:   / greenbeansmusic   WEBSITE: https://gbmusic.tv #GreenBeansMusic #Rhythm #Melody #ElementaryMusic #FallMusic
