MTG Budget Deck Tech: $20 Mono-Green Eldrazi in Battle for Zendikar Standard!

Everybody loves Eldrazi, but building a whole deck full of them would be pretty expensive, right? Not so! We can have fun with Eldrazi for as little as $20 or so, and still manage to be pretty competitive! Of course, we can't play Ulamog for that price, but we can still play a whole host of awesome 'Drazi. When we're able to trade for, afford, or pull Ulamog and friends, the deck is easily modified! Our basic philosophy is to play a Mana-producer on turn 2, then either a Surrak, an Eyeless Watcher, or a From Beyond on turn 3. All 3 sequences can lead to 6 Mana on the 4th turn, enabling us to cast a 6-mana threat like Conduit of Ruin, Oblivion Sower, or Drowner of Hope. All three of the turn-4 plays can, in their own ways, lead to an even bigger play on the next turn (Sower and Drowner both ramp you in different ways and Conduit both Tutors and lowers the cost of the big guys). If we have a Surrak out when we play any of these turn-4 threats, we can immediately swing with any of them! It's especially good to play Drowner of Hope in this situation, as we can tap down at least two of the opponent's creatures and swing for 10 with the Surrak and the Drowner! Not only that, but there are also ways to cast Bane of Bala Ged on turn 4, and when you have a Surrak out, he can immediately make them exile two of their permanents (it's often 2 lands, but on turn 4, this is devastating)! Those are only some of the tricks this deck employs! Lots of fun synergies and powerful turn sequences in this one!
