TELL GOD YOU LOVE THE WAY HE FORGIVES | Dag Heward-Mills

Bishop Dag Heward-Mills teaches from Psalm 25:6-7 on the power of reminding God of His own mercy. He explains that just as you encourage someone to repeat a kindness by praising them for it, telling God 'I love the way You forgive' moves Him to forgive again. He reads Psalm 25:6, 'O LORD, remember thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses; for they have been ever of old,' and Psalm 25:7, 'Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to thy mercy remember thou me.' He illustrates how sin produces fear with a striking story of a young man committing sin when a bus horn sounded, causing him to leap up in terror believing the trumpet of the Rapture had blown. Bishop Dag warns that sins and their consequences are connected, and urges listeners not to wait for tragedy to confess but to seek God's mercy now, declaring that God will be touched by honest confession and will forgive today.
