New Big Picture: SCHLOCKTOBER 2026 - ROBOT MONSTER

/ moviebob1   https://ko-fi.com/moviebob0168 Did you think we forgot? No such luck! 🎃 For 2026, Schlocktober digs up a selection of the (used to be?) "quasi-classics" of old-time good/bad movie canon; starting with 1953's "ROBOT MONSTER" - aka "that one with the gorilla in the space helmet." Is there more to this now 73 year-old curiosity than an accidentally-memorable monster design and the scrappy spectacle of L.A.-area indie genre filmmakers scrambling to put a releasable post-apocalyptic alien-invasion feature together out of eight actors, the barest concept of "props" and the ubiquity of Bronson Canyon shooting locations? Maybe not, but you've got to start somehwere 😁
