How to degrease a metal plate for printmaking

Before you apply a ground to an etching plate, you need to clean and degrease it so that the ground will stick properly to the surface. There are quite a few different ways that you can do this, and I find this one the simplest. In this video I clean a copper plate, but this should also work with other common printmaking metals including zinc.
