Cotton Fields Won’t Let Me Go | 1930s Mississippi Delta Blues & Vintage Resonator Guitar

1930s Mississippi Delta Blues, vintage resonator guitar and the sound of the cotton fields. “Cotton Fields Won’t Let Me Go” is an original blues song about leaving home, hearing the Delta call you back, and finding that part of your heart never left. A weathered male vocal, foot-stomp rhythm, bottleneck slide guitar and sparse harmonica bring this story to life with an old school Delta blues feel. From a train ride to Memphis to the familiar road home, the song follows a man who cannot forget where he came from.
