How to Configure and Apply Security Rules in Airtool Studio | Airtool Platform Tutorial Controlling which records users can view and which application objects they can access is an essential part of application security. In this tutorial, we’ll explore how to configure Table Security and Object Security in Airtool Studio using SQL-based conditions. We’ll create a table security rule that filters CRM Deal records according to the current user, assign the rule to the CRM Deal table, and examine how its condition is applied through the WHERE clause of the object statement. Next, we’ll configure an object security rule and apply it to the CRM Lead transaction through the Dictionary’s Object Base configuration. By testing full and limited access, we’ll see how the configured condition can hide the Leads object from the application menu. In this video, we cover: Creating and configuring Table Security rules Applying an SQL-based owner filter to CRM Deal records Understanding security conditions in the WHERE clause Configuring Object Security and its SQL condition Assigning security rules to the CRM Lead transaction Testing full and limited access in the CRM application This tutorial is part of the Airtool Platform series, demonstrating how developers configure data-level and object-level security in Airtool Studio.
