This is one of the most meaningful releases I’ve ever shared. “Softly and Tenderly” has always carried a message of grace and invitation—the gentle call of Christ to every weary heart. This new a cappella arrangement by Sam Robson brings that timeless hymn into a fresh and powerful light. The harmonies stretch across a huge range, weaving rich, “crunchy” chords with moments of breathtaking stillness. It was an honor to sing Sam’s arrangement and to pour my heart into every layer of this recording.
