Smith Lake Alabama Flooding - April 1, 2021

Video footage of Lewis Smith Lake after multiple days of heavy spring rains. Lake level was approaching 522 feet, which would start overflowing through the spillway at the dam. Video was captured at Smith Lake Dam, Trident Marina, and Smith Lake Park using a DJI Phantom 3 drone and iPhone for photographs. Lake level was 520 feet and 11 inches and was expected to crest later that day at 521 feet (per Alabama Power Company).
