About Briede: Founded in 2013, owners and wine lovers Paul and Loretta Briede re-imagined land once used for their horses and planted some of the most unique grapes in our region. The former horse barn has now been transformed into a quaint French country-inspired tasting room and patio, and recently, they have added a pavilion to provide shade and increase their outdoor seating. Unique Feature: Take a Stroll down the walking path to see their Arandell vines, a hybrid that produces a medium-bodied dry red wine. Briede was the first winery in the US to produce a varietal wine from Arandell grapes and also grows other little-known varieties like La Crescent, Marquette, and Cayuga White, most of which are hybrids.
