Testing the Sigma 500mm Lens and an Unexpected Visitor Appeared - Sony A1ii

For Episode 11 we visited Warnham Nature Reserve with the goal of photographing woodland birds around the hides and trails. The Heron Hide ended up being the highlight as we spent three and a half hours inside capturing activity from a variety of species before an unexpected visitor arrived The Kingfisher put on an incredible show giving us some of our best photos yet and all taken with the Sigma 500 mm f5.6 on its first outing. We also photographed Goldfinch Greenfinch Blue Tit Robin Buzzard Nuthatch and Pheasant making this one of the most enjoyable sessions so far.
