Rickard Rydell? Julian Bailey? Jordie Gene? That Tom Kristensen? Sounds like Euro ladder series kinda turned out like American ones did back then. If you didn't make it to the big show, you ended up in Touring Cars or Sportscars. Y'all all know where David Coulthard ended up. I wonder if Fittipaldi and DeFerran ever talked about this one in the paddock after they picked up rides in CART. All that being said, I seriously enjoyed the various young cable channels in the US back then showing races that folks over here had heard of, but never seen. We'd heard of some kind of crazy F3 race in Asia, but never really realized how nuts Macau was until we saw it.
