Wanderlust is Wunderbar Road Trip 2026 - Hopevale to Daintree NP via the Bloomfield Track

In this video, we travel to the amazing Coloured Sands at Hopevale and then turn around and head towards the Daintree via the Bloomfield Track. The highlights were exploring the incredible sand dunes and gorges at Elim Beach, the Wujal Wujal Falls at Bloomfield, and the stunning rainforests and beaches at Cape Tribulation. We did spend a night at the Lion's Den Hotel/campground, but it wasn't quite as good as it used to be in the past. The place was very muddy and the waterholes were unswimmable, which is out of their control, but the changes to the hotel itself we didn't particularly like. Why does the place need to be lit up so brightly?!?!?! It made it have an RSL kind of feel which we didnt like at all!
