This is a World Where People Lock the Fuck In.
This was and is currently the hardest grind I've done in this game, not tier wise but mental wise. This golden is so unbelievably different to any other grind I've done in any game Ever, and it tanked my mental during the peak of the grind. I was only able to finish the grind in the last few days with a sharp change in mindset after talking to some people (@mystral_fox especially :yay:) and a perspective on the game I haven't had in a good while. I feel like as opposed to Delusion being more of a physical challenge and a test of skill, this was a Wall, a test of perseverence which I could have never won without growing as a player, without fixing the mindset issues I had going into it and I think thats why this means so much to me
As for the map itself, as a clear it's Actually phenomenal, the gameplay is very unique and engaging and the atmosphere in the map is unmatched in my eyes, especially when coming up on the last few flags. Flag 2-End specifically is an amazing thing to experience even just once, and a perfect ending to the map. As a golden? I'm split, as originally for a portion of the grind I has viewed it as crashout and not fun in a golden environment, but nearing the end when my mindset had changed and my consistency spiked my opinion changed Wildly. It was almost addicting to play, pouring 6+ hours a day on the map just because I was Enjoying it, less so that i was close to winning.
My best opinion I can gather from the whole experience is that this golden is very unapproachable but if you are able to get past that it is one of a kind. Entering 9 and hearing the music amp up, entering 5 for the first time, getting past the bunny hop in 3 and entering 2, the transition to 1, Passing flag 1 and entering flag 0 with a actualy one of a kind transition and ending screen, the pressure, the nerves, everything building up perfectly to allow one of the biggest releases of emotion I will probably ever experience. If you are able to get past the walls of the map and are able to mental handle what this map can put you through, Try this golden. I promise it's an amazing experience.
