Harvesting 270 Organic Potatoes in a Welsh Heatwave!

I planted 270 organic potatoes on my Welsh allotment, costing me just £32! After a hard winter of digging and manuring, and a brutal summer drought, it is finally time to harvest! Initially, I thought I could dig up the lot in just one day. But between the unrelenting heat wave here in Wales and the sheer volume of spuds, I quickly realised I had to take it "un dydd ar y tro" — one day at a time! In this video, I dig up the first 5 rows (out of 25) to see if my investment and winter preparation has paid off. The starting weight of all the seed potatoes was 23kg.
