In this video I make a frame saw. I purchased the blade, blade fasteners, and handles from Germany, can't seem to find them in the UK. The frame is made with European oak (23mm) thick, I used 1" flat head brass screws, I used 2 rose head nails in the handles, and the string was hemp. I also added leather washers to take the slop out of the handles. Rough sizes- shorter rail - 400 x 48 x 23mm The handle hole was boarded 25mm up, and the notch for the string 30mm down. longer rail - 565 x 48 x 23mm Middle beam - 35 x 23mm, length should be determined as shown in the video. Website (not affiliated with these guys) https://www.fine-tools.com/gestell.html I installed the 600mm Japanese rip cut blade. Just a side note, the under handle was added to help balance the saw when I cut (demonstrated in the video). I appreciate your time, thank you for commenting and watching the video. **SAWHORSE WORKBENCH PLANS** https://drive.google.com/file/d/10kO8... **FREE ROMAN WORKBENCH EBOOK** https://drive.google.com/file/d/1H-xT... **BUY ME A COFFEE** https://www.paypal.me/unpluggedwoodwo... **AFFILIATE TOOLS** https://www.amazon.co.uk/shop/unplugg... **INSTAGRAM**   / unpluggedwoodworking   **FACEBOOK**   / unpluggedwoodworking   **TIKTOK** https://vm.tiktok.com/ZMekcwDC7/
