Jamaica Say You Will - Barry Thomson tribute to Jackson Browne

Jamaica Say You Will - Barry Thomson pays tribute to Jackson Browne, who recently tested positive for Covid 19. May his symptoms remain mild and his recovery be swift. Browne has referred to the song as a "fable," but one based in real experience "I created the fable of this girl who lived by the sea and whose father is a captain, and eventually she would be taken away and go sailing off." The reality it seems, was a memory of a lost young love from his past near the California coast. Rolling Stone magazine "It's as moving a love song as we've ever heard."
