Майами — Нотр-Дам: превью и прогноз

Notre Dame Football, Marcus Freeman, CJ Carr, BYU Football, and Kalani Sitake are the focus of this episode as I preview Notre Dame at BYU and give my prediction. No. 2 Notre Dame is 6-0 and travels to No. 8 BYU, which is 5-0, on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC at LaVell Edwards Stadium. Notre Dame is a 10.5-point favorite with a total near 47.5. Carr is completing 70.8 percent of his passes for 1,378 yards, 16 touchdowns, and one interception, and he is third on the Heisman odds list. The Fighting Irish have also seemingly figured out their rushing attack after struggling against Wisconsin and Michigan State, with Jonaz Walton having 13.9 yards per carry against Stanford, but BYU's defense will be their toughest challenge yet. I break down what Notre Dame's offense does best, how BYU can hang with the Irish for four quarters, and whether BYU's run defense is the weakness it looks like. I look at the matchup of Carr against the BYU secondary, what an undefeated BYU team has really shown against its schedule, and whether this atmosphere makes the spread too big. I also cover how BYU's offense can keep Carr and the Irish off the field, and what a close game or an upset would mean for the playoff race. Then I give my prediction against the spread. This is the top-10 game of the night. If you think the Irish roll, I will tell you what could stop them. College Football with Sam's goal is to give you joy and mold you into the most educated fan.
